She's blocked in, now. I just need to go in, add some more values and details. I am aware I've given her a little more 'donk'-- that was purely accidental (not that she REALLY needed it). Lol. Anyway-- let me know what you think of it so far!

at first, i didnt know what i was looking at (in part because i completely forgot what athena nike looked like with the wings and all) lol... but, then, realized that you said you were blocking in your shadows. ive never tried that approach. from the looks of things, you have a lot of detail to get into eventually with the drapery but, it all makes sense. youre off to a good start.

looking good! youre doing excellent so far with your values! i can definitely make everything out now. you may want to darken up the black around the outside on the left so that it makes your lights pop a little more (but i dont know how dark you can get with the charcoal). id even go as far as to make it a solid black. im REALLY looking forward to seeing you get in there on the wings!
