This is my character sketch. Sorry it took so long but, I wanted to do a few poses. That and, im somewhat of a perfectionist so, to be honest, ive I've actually been through a few sketches before I finally decided that I liked these enough to post them lol...

JaiaLeia-- Layla The Abomination

Hi, all!


This is my quick sketch of Layla The Halfling, a girl in search of Prince Alexander, the heir to the dragon-clan of the desert lands. Unlike other dragons, Layla is unable to transform into her dragon form, but she does have two hearts that beat independently of each other. The daughter of a disgraced warrior princess, she grew up in the palace with the King, his son, Prince Alexander, and her General Mother, Ndira.

Cherished by the king and hated by her mother, young Layla grew to love the prince as a brother. Devastated when he was taken by the dragon-clans of the north, Layla vowed to bring him back. Ten years later, she sets out on a search for Alexander, not knowing whether he is alive or what he has become.

*ahem* don't worry-- I'll fix her feet. Lol.

Environment

Ok so, this took a lot more time than Id liked for it to have taken :/
But, im still trying to get the hang of "just sketching" lol... I wound up doing more simply because I kept going back and forth trying to make sure everyting was readable since there is a lot of information on thr page. But, anyways... its done .

JaiaLeia - Environment

It's been a week of downs and ups and my computer is finally working again! I lost a few files, my sketch included, but I was able to get in a little time today. I will be working to refine it over the coming week and display the final next Sunday. I really wanted to do more than one since there are three major regions in the storyline-- a desert, a forest, and snow-capped mountains, but that's a bit ambitious for me to finish all in a day. We shall see how the week goes ^^

Ok so, i put this together in 'paint' so, it was kinda awkward to make. i couldnt get rid of the white space and got frustrated trying to do so. but, for the sake of getting an idea across, i think this will have to suffice :/
