This is my quick sketch of Layla The Halfling, a girl in search of Prince Alexander, the heir to the dragon-clan of the desert lands. Unlike other dragons, Layla is unable to transform into her dragon form, but she does have two hearts that beat independently of each other. The daughter of a disgraced warrior princess, she grew up in the palace with the King, his son, Prince Alexander, and her General Mother, Ndira.
Cherished by the king and hated by her mother, young Layla grew to love the prince as a brother. Devastated when he was taken by the dragon-clans of the north, Layla vowed to bring him back. Ten years later, she sets out on a search for Alexander, not knowing whether he is alive or what he has become.
*ahem* don't worry-- I'll fix her feet. Lol.
Although I youre not not using this story anymore, I still think you did an Excellent job on her costume design (as always lol...). Her pose is very care free if not innocent but, im sure she has a twist to her personality lol... I would have liked to have seen a little more of the hair flushed in.-along with the FEET! lol... but its just a sketch. I hope you eventually find the time to finish this story so, she she doesn't get lost or consumed in thr storm of other ideas and stories that rage on inside your mind.
