Scribble Skirmish is a blog dedicated to art challenges. The theme of the challenges will range anywhere from creature design to interior design, from seascapes to forest villages. The rules are:
1. Competition starts every Sunday night after the 8pm critique.

JaiaLeia-- Challenge #2-- Futuristic Monarch
Well, hello there! It's been a while. Sorry about the late post, but I still had (and have) some sketching to do. I've got to work some more-- especially on the throne. Here is what I have so far:
Good start, I'm interested in what the outfit will look like. Anatomy is good. She looks small of stature but at this point, I'm more interested in the development of the throne. It looks like it's the focal point. Keep that in mind as you render and remember to focus on the development of the character. Good start.
off to a nice start. not much to critique yet. the only thing i can spot is that the right leg looks a little funny as though its either resting at a weird angle in the seat or like its short (outside of foreshortening) but, other than that, cant wait to see where it goes.
