Ok.... so, i posted this at 11:30ish but posted in the wrong section so...um... yeah. i gotta get the hang of this lol... anyways, im not sure if we're supposed to make this look all crisp and stuffs but, this is my 'CRYSTAL CITY' in progress. i hope its not too confusing since its not exactly done yet but, the direction im heading in is: the crystals themselves will be the home to ants (not drawn in yet) and, the crystals will be at home in someones mouth (as their teeth). i have a LOT more rendering to do then, hopefully i can do color. but, im a bit rust a dust with all this drawing stuff or "draw-a-wing" (as ms. maggie wouldve said) LOL.....
VERY interesting concept, Jamar! How did you come up with this idea? Also... you're not rusty at this, at all. What's going to happen with the space at the bottom of the page?
ReplyDeleteIm not entirely sure as to WHERE the idea came from to be honest lol... but, from the begining, i knew i wanted to keep my thinking as 'outside the box' as i could. i know we're supposed to be focusing in straying away from our comfort zone with what we use but, thinking this way, in and of itself is taking me out of my comfort zone. anyways, as for the bottom of the page, im just going enlarge the tongue and, fill in the bottom of the face/chin- maybe even have a beard where the ants will fester *shrug*

ReplyDeleteLOL This is gonna be hella gross when it's done! But I love the concept and detail in the size variation between all the crystals. I can't wait to see it finished! Be sure to add some nasty funky gooey blood riddled saliva... that'll be the best part LOL
