this is where the project is as of now. i kinda realized since i have no way of coloring it that, its kinda pointless to go any further with it. i didnt do too much shading (since i intended to color it) but, i played around with line weights a little, which turned out to be challenging.
I like the addition of the ants. It's kind of gross. Every time I see this piece I feel like he's saying, 'Come 'ere gurl, lemme give you a kiss'. If you just add value instead of color it would still be a great study. You really tried to think outside of the box with this one and the outline of the crystals look great so far. Cool first challenge!
ReplyDeleteYeah this is totally grody, but You did a great job as far as you crystals actually looking like crystals! I bet you just didn't want to render them bad boys in the end, huh? It WOULD be a bitch! LOL Good job guys!
