Challenge #2 Futuristic Monarch
I had a good amount of time to work on my challenge this week. Had some good pinspiration boards to draw from; that's always helpful.
ok... you really managed to capture the 'rave' feel with the color choice. it screams 'future' lol... that and 'goth'. but, since you have so much black, i wouldve liked to have seen more highlights on her legs (unless having them disappear was what you were going for). the liquidy shadows are AWESOME! and, most importantly.. you FINISHED lol... unlike myself :'/ good job, ma'am!
I'm loving the bustier, the colors, and the details of the glittering beads. She looks like a glamorous dark witch(only thinking that way because of her staff and makeup). I agree with Jamar about more highlights in the legs, but all in all, this character is pretty fierce.
Thanks guys, Yeah I'm noticing the monitor calibration on my laptop is way different than on my desktop-much brighter, so I'll have to watch that when working on dark areas.

ReplyDeleteBTW... you'd be killer at fashion design. I think you have a great talent with colors and patterns.
