prehistoric scene finish

Had to rush finish thus, I couldnt really work the understructure the way I wanted to. But, I managed to bring it to a point where I can say its presentable.

  1. Wow... this is beautiful! At a first glance, it seems like there is a lot of tension you've created: the way the creature in the foreground bows his head and squints his eye in the direction of the swimming creature looks like a predator watching his prey. But when I look closely, he just seems to be having a drink of water. This makes me feel as though you've created this window into their daily prehistoric life where there is danger in both taking a dip in the water or bowing your head to drink it. Nice job! I only wish those dark tones could have gotten darker, but it looks like you used graphite for this piece, so maybe that has to do with how this was photographed/scanned in.
